Master of Architecture/Master of Landscape Architecture
The Master of Architecture combined with the Master of Landscape Architecture double master degree positions students to be industry ready and have flexibility within the employment market. It gives you the knowledge and skills to help improve our built and natural environments through innovative design.
This multidisciplinary approach gives you the ability to realise synergies between disciplines, broadening your skillset and giving you a contemporary understanding of the built environment profession.
This program aims to provide you with:
highly developed skills to manage an architectural practice and lead or work within cross-discipline project teams;
the skills to design ecologically sound and contemporary landscapes using the latest materials and technologies;
the management and communications skills to work effectively in interdisciplinary project teams, directly applicable in professional practice;
a grounding in the history, theory and technology of architecture and landscape architecture, and an in-depth understanding of international landscape architecture contemporary practice leading to the creation of innovative thinking and design.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for entry into this course, you must:
- Have completed a bachelor degree (AQF7) in a cognate (relevant) discipline with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 65%, or equivalent.
- Cognate (relevant) disciplines include: Architecture or landscape architecture.
And - Have completed below prerequisite subject(s):
- one design studio subject at the undergraduate level3
- one art, architecture, built environment, or design history subject at the undergraduate level, or equivalent.
