Bachelor of Climate Change (Environmental Planning)

Accredited by the New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI), the Bachelor of Environmental Planning recognises that environmental problems and solutions involve social, economic and cultural dimensions as well as the natural and physical environment.

The BEP provides you with practical, industry experience gained across labs, workshops and field trips. You'll also benefit from guest lecturers and practical activities, and will attend industry-focused events such as resource management hearings, case law presentations and mock hearings.

The BEP is a flexible and interdisciplinary degree which provides students with choices in structuring their programme of study. It takes four years to complete and prepares students for a wide range of jobs in New Zealand and overseas.

Hamilton campus

Our main campus is located in the vibrant, multicultural city of Hamilton, with outdoor activities, shopping malls and eateries only a short drive away. On campus, you鈥檒l find a new state-of-the-art Student Centre, sporting facilities, cafes and eateries, car parking, subsidised bus services and more.

Tauranga campus

Our Tauranga campus is located in the heart of Tauranga鈥檚 CBD, surrounded by eateries, shopping and accommodation options. The campus itself is a brand-new multi-level building, featuring all the same student services as the Hamilton campus, with the advantage of being in the middle of the city.

- Most eligible international students can work up to 25 hours per week during study and full-time during scheduled breaks, only if their student visa includes work rights.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Achieve an average of 75% over the best four academic subjects in the Indian School Certificate (ISC), or the All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSC), and selected state boards: Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal with a minimum of 60% in English, or:An average of 80% over the best four academic subjects in all other state boards with Minimum of 65% in English.
