BA (Hons) Dance and Fitness (Foundation Year)

This degree puts a focus on both dance and fitness. You’ll explore movement in relation to the human body and performance, and you’ll discover the must-knows for anyone considering a career within the dance and fitness sector.
You will gain in-depth psychological and physiological knowledge and be confident in fitness testing and personal training other people. You will regularly work in the Human Performance Lab and university gym, planning fitness programmes, analysing movement and researching the effects of different fitness interventions. You will gain useful knowledge about injury prevention and rehabilitation.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
We require successful completion of a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 with an overall average of 65% or above.
Mathematics entry requirements
Students need the equivalent of GCSE Mathematics grade C/4.
English language requirements
Students are not required to provide an English Certificate if they achieve a score of 65% or above on the English Language subject of their a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12.
A typical offer will require a UCAS tariff score of: 80 - 104
A minimum of two full A-levels (or equivalent) is required and a typical offer also requires GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4. Every application is considered on an individual basis.
