BSc (Hons) Politics & Global Sustainability
BSc Politics and Global Sustainability reflects the needs of our time. The course reimagines the knowledge, skills and attributes that are critical to creating a sustainable future for humanity and nature.
You will examine questions that are integral to making sense of politics today: How can we build a sustainable world where there is fairness between generations, class and gender equality, environmental restoration, and peace within and between countries?
Our excellent and highly qualified teaching team will guide and support you as you interrogate themes such as power, security, ethics, inequality, sustainability, leadership, development, governance and justice. Our innovative teaching includes simulations, role-playing and student conferences.
This truly interdisciplinary degree equips you to understand, respond to and lead your communities in a challenging, changing world. You will benefit from approaches including behavioural economics, political economy, international relations, sociology and political philosophy.
You will develop critical, innovative and interdisciplinary thinking, and professional skills as compassionate advocates of sustainability. You will graduate with the knowledge, skills and understanding required for a wide range of career pathways, ready and empowered to tackle global challenges.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
FOR INDIA
- Successful completion of standard 12 th with 60% average and one further year of study.
FOR BANGLADESH
- Polytechnic Diploma (BTEB) with a final grade of at least 65%
- Bachelor of Arts, Science or Commerce (Pass) awarded after 3 years of study with a minimum final grade of at least 60% or a GPA of 3.0/4.0
FOR PAKISTAN
- Intermediate Certificate/Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) - Students from Pakistan having completed school level education only will be expected to take IFC or IFY pathways as appropriate
- 2-year Bachelor of Arts/Science/Commerce (Pass) from an HEC accredited institution with a minimum final grade of at least 60%/First Class
- 3-year Bachelor of Arts/Science/Commerce (Honours) from an HEC accredited institution with a minimum final grade of at least 60%/First Class
- Bachelor of Technology (Pass) from an HEC accredited institution with a minimum final grade of at least 60%/First Class.
FOR NEPAL
For entry into Year 1 of Bachelor's degrees (Level 4), you will typically need to have one of the following:
- a recognised International Foundation course from a UK institution following a validated UK syllabus. Entry requirements vary but we normally ask for between 60% and 65%<
- British Board A Levels or IB Diploma.
