Gardens Point campus is located in Brisbane's city centre, beside the Brisbane River and adjacent to the City Botanic Gardens and Queensland Parliament House. At the centre of the campus is the Old Government House which was built in 1862 and re-opened in 2009.The faculties of Business, Law, and Science and Engineering are based at this campus.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
FOR INDIA
- A completed International Baccalaureate Diploma with at least 30 points. Send your results to QUT through your online IB account. QUTs institution code is 003148.
- A completed United States of America High School Diploma with an overall grade point average of 3.50 on a 4 scale (where 2 = pass).
- All India Senior School Certificate academic stream awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with an overall average of 75.00% from the best five academic subjects (two languages and three academic subjects), excluding physical education.
- An aggregate score of 9 based on the best three A-Level subjects from General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced (A2) Level.
A maximum of two Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level subjects can be counted in place of one A-level subject provided the same subject has not been taken at A level.
- A or A2 Level: A*=6, A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1
- AS or A1 Level: A=2.5, B=2, C=1.5, D=1, E=0.5.
