Business Administration (M.B.A.)/Sustainability Analytics and Management (M.S.)
The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)/Master of Science in Sustainability Analytics and Management (SAM) dual-degree program integrates business, engineering, and law to answer the increasing demand for managers and executives who have a sophisticated understanding of environmental issues and sustainable business practices.
The Illinois Tech M.B.A. and SAM degrees combine to develop your managerial expertise, business acumen, and technical skills and knowledge to become a leader who can make the business case for sustainability in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors.
The M.B.A. program’s rigorous curriculum is designed to develop an innovation mindset and the intellectual agility to tackle complex business challenges. Courses are infused with project-based learning and hands-on use of technology to develop your analytical, strategic, and managerial skills.
The SAM program enables students with STEM backgrounds to hone their technical and analytics skills, develop their knowledge of environmental management, law, and policy, and learn how to apply technological innovation to build sustainable systems.
Through Illinois Tech’s one-of-a-kind Elevate program, you are guaranteed access to hands-on experiences throughout your graduate education, such as virtual and in-person internships, and personalized mentorship to guide your academic studies and career planning.
Our exclusive partnership with Chicago Innovation provides Stuart M.B.A. students with a free membership and access to the organization’s many business and networking events, which are annually attended by more than 10,000 successful professionals.
Enrolling in this dual-degree program reduces the total requirement for earning the two degrees by four courses (12 credits), compared with earning the M.B.A. and SAM degrees separately.
