Management (M.A.S.)/Information Technology and Management (M.A.S.)
The Master of Management/Master of Information Technology and Management (ITM) dual-degree program at Illinois Institute of Technology is designed for graduate students who want to combine the powerful skills and knowledge of management and digital technology to become leaders in the rapidly evolving tech business landscape.
You’ll be prepared to advance in key information technology management roles in companies ranging from startups to large corporations, as well as in the consulting, governmental, and nonprofit sectors.
The Master of ITM program offers you the flexibility to tailor your education to meet your professional interests and goals.
Develop your technical and problem-solving skills to create effective information technology solutions to address challenges and opportunities in a variety of industries.
The program’s comprehensive, cutting-edge curriculum includes nine specializations covering areas of information technology, ranging from security to software development to smart technology and innovation.
The Master of Management program focuses on broad-based business skills—innovation, leadership, finance, operations, decision-making, and marketing—that prepare you for positions with management responsibilities that can accelerate your career advancement in any industry or organization.
Enrolling in this dual-degree program reduces the total number of credits required by nine credit hours (three courses), compared to enrolling in the Master of Management and Master of ITM programs separately.

PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Illinois Tech requires a four-year bachelor's degree conferred with a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade-point average of 3.0/4.0 (or its equivalent) from an accredited institution for regular admission. Individual departments may have different requirements, however.
India
Four-year bachelor’s degree in any field; three-year bachelor’s degrees must be conferred in First Class with Distinction from an NAAC Grade “A” Indian institution; other three-year bachelor’s degrees must be accompanied by a two-year master’s degree. (Note: profession qualifications and postgraduate diplomas completed after a bachelor’s degree are not considered sufficient for admission
Provide Illinois Tech an official copy of the English proficiency Duolingo English Test, TOEFL or IELTS score report. The TOEFL code to send your scores to Illinois Tech is 1318. Duolingo English Test can be submitted directly by indicating Illinois Institute of Technology.

International applicants who are interested in attending Illinois Tech, and who meet academic and financial requirements but do not meet the minimum English proficiency requirements, may be offered conditional admission.
