Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice program at Jessup University is training the next generation of law enforcement personnel who are spiritually grounded, ethically trained and ready for entry into one of the fastest growing employment areas in the country. We do this training through well trained active duty law enforcement personnel, a requirement for instructors in the program.
Across the curriculum we train our future law enforcement personnel to be thoughtful in deliberation, ethical in decision-making, and compassionate in action. Changes in law enforcement and the public perception of law enforcement demands that our new generation of leaders can identify and respond to shifts in the law, and the community. All Criminal Justice students are required to do an internship with an agency. Jessup students have interned with National, State and Local law enforcement agencies.

PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Additional Requirements: International students may need to provide a copy of their valid passport, official transcripts (possibly evaluated), a personal essay, and potentially TOEFL or IELTS scores.
Financial Support: They will also need to provide a financial support statement, such as a bank statement and sponsor letter.
Age: Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the course's beginning.
On the TOEFL exam the minimum score requirement is a 550 on the paper-based test (PBT) or a 90 on the internet based test (iBT).
