Materials Engineering

New material engineering department studies inorganic material which bases the industry and advanced industrial materials which are electronic material, semiconductor material, structural material, nano material, environmental material and bio material and develop professionals.
Our department has 19 experiments rooms and laboratories to promote in-depth education in the each area with the best 9 faculty members in the material and parts field. Each room has enough experiments facilities for the materials and parts research, and to build the best research environment, the departments try to introduce the advanced equipment. Research achievements from the day-and-night research get recognized widely with the industrial-educational cooperation activities.
Also, club activities in the department like “Good Cera” (cheerleading squad for the department), “Flite” (basketball circle), “Ceraring” (soccer & study circle), “Yonyohoi” (circle for the girl in the department) make good relations with students, alumni, and professors.
Graduated students systematically educated the major lectures like material science, nano-material engineering, new material, electronic material, fission engineering, high temperature material, optical semiconductor material take a center stage in the various fields as professionals. Specifically they works as researchers in KIST, Institute of Ceramics, Korea Electronics Technology Institute, Korea Institute of Construction Materials, and Korea Institute of Energy Technology, works in Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samhwa capacitors, Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Electronics, and LG Electronics and works in educational organizations to become professors and research members. drawing, machine tools and actual experiment and project.
