To cater to your specific interests and career goals, we offer four concentrations within the program: General Biology, Molecular Biology, Physiology, and Evolution & Organismal Biology.
With the General Biology concentration, you have the flexibility to personalize your coursework according to your specific interests and academic pursuits.
Our Molecular Biology concentration holds accreditation from the ASBMB and is an ideal choice for those interested in medicine, public health, or genetic counseling. The specialized curriculum in these areas will provide you with a solid foundation.
If you're fascinated by the intricacies of human and animal physiology and wish to explore health and disease topics further, the Physiology concentration offers advanced coursework to deepen your knowledge in these areas.
For students passionate about environmental conservation and sustainability, our Evolution & Organismal Biology concentration focuses on evolution, ecology, and biodiversity. By choosing this concentration, you'll acquire the knowledge and skills needed to address pressing environmental challenges.

PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

You are required to send all of your university transcripts (grade reports) with your application. Each program evaluates your university performance differently, but most will require that you submit a GRE or GMAT score and a TOEFL score in some cases.
Students with the following minimum scores will begin full-time academic study upon arrival:

PTE Academic 48 (only accepted for some academic programs)
A score of 540 or higher on the SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section (only accepted for some academic programs)
