MHA-MBA

The MHA/MBA program offered by the John G. Rangos Sr. School of Health Sciences and the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business will propel you to the top of the healthcare industry by preparing you for a career as a chief executive officer, executive director, administrator, and other leadership roles in the industry. You can earn both an MHA and an MBA in as little as three years. For added flexibility, the MHA can be completed entirely online, and the Professional MBA can be completed online or by taking on-campus, evening classes.

The program also offers you the flexibility to tailor the curriculum, allowing you to develop expertise in specialized concentration areas including data analytics and healthcare compliance. Gain a foundation in accounting, finance, economics, marketing, strategy, human resources, ethics, and more. Healthcare is becoming more complex both medically and administratively, and the MHA/MBA program will give you the foundation that you need to be successful in a rapidly growing industry.

PSW Opportunity

Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).

Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.

Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).

STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

GPA at 3.5 or higher
GPA for prerequisite courses of 3.5 or higher
GRE at 308 or higher. GRE scores must be from last 5 years.

The University requires the following minimum scores* for general admission consideration:
