Recreation and Sport Management (BA) For Adult Students

By earning your DePaul recreation and sports management degree online as an adult working professional, you can advance or start your sports management and recreation career. Our Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Recreation and Sports Management program emphasizes a multidisciplinary understanding of leisure services management and leadership that will prepare you to manage recreation and sports organizations.

As you work toward your degree, you’ll develop your professional portfolio with further study in sports management, fitness, recreation administration and event planning. Courses you’ll take in this online degree program emphasize leadership and talent development, sports psychology, community health, nutrition and motor development.

PSW Opportunity

Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).

Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.

Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).

STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Required Documentation (if still in high school): Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/School Leaving Certificate (SLC) or All India Secondary School Certificate or Pass Certificate Result of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (Grade 10 examinations)

Required Certification (if completed high school): Higher School Certificate / Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or Intermediate Certificate Examination or All India and Delhi Senior School Certificate or Pass Certificate Result of Indian School Certificate Examination & Grade 10 examinations

TOEFL = 80 on the IBT TOEFL with no subsection lower than 17

IELTS Academic = 6.5 on the IELTS Academic

Duolingo English Test (DET) = 115 on the DET

PTE Academic = minimum English academic score of 53

Revised TOEFL Paper-delivered Test = 59 on the PdT overall with no subsection lower than 17
