Computer Engineering, MEng
This computer engineering course includes three years’ study at the Bachelor’s level plus a further Master’s year. It’ll give you the knowledge and skills to pursue roles in ICT and computer engineering.
On our MEng Computer Engineering, you'll learn about theoretical programming and gain practical experience in developing and using applications for computing platforms and hardware. You'll have the opportunity to develop applications for robots, embedded and real-time systems, and other innovative information and communications technology.
The final year includes a Masters-level engineering project that will develop your teamwork and leadership skills. You will graduate with the knowledge and skills required for professional roles in computing, engineering, and related specialist fields. You could also pursue postgraduate study.

Medway Campus has a rich naval history. Its red-brick buildings were previously a Royal Navy base. Nelson's flagship HMS Victory was built at Chatham's Historic Dockyard. The campus also has amazing caf茅s and bars, including those in Pembroke and Pilkington Buildings.

- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Academic entry requirements
For standard entry to our Bachelor's programmes, please ensure you meet the following criteria:
- Completion of Standard XII with a minimum grade of 65%, obtained within the last two years.
For those seeking advanced entry into Year 2 or Year 3, the following requirements apply:
- Completion of Year 1 of a relevant degree programme with a minimum grade of 60%.
Additionally, for certain courses, it may be necessary to have studied specific subjects during your school or college education to be eligible for admission. Our admissions team will assess your application to determine the relevance of your academic background once you apply.

To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet one of the following English language proficiency requirements:
IELTS: Overall band score of 6.0 with no individual band score below 5.5.
Standard XII Waiver: Achieve a minimum of 70% in English from Standard XII. (Note: This waiver is not applicable to applicants from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, or Uttarakhand.)
For certain programs such as Psychology, Law, and Architecture, a higher English language proficiency is required:
IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5 with no individual band score below 6.0.
