Master of Business (Research)
This is an advanced coursework and research program in organisational leadership. Coursework will consist of one year of study in leadership/management as well as research preparation; followed by a year to complete a research thesis. The course offers progression to the PhD program.

- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
The entry requirements for admission to the MBus (Research) are:
- Minimum of 3-year under-graduate degree* in a relevant discipline, with a Grade Point Average of a Credit or above, combined with relevant industry experience, or
- A Bachelor (Honours) OR Master’s degree* in a relevant discipline
And - a 1,000-word expression of interest. **
* Equivalent overseas qualifications must be recognised by the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR).
** Applicants are required to submit an?expression of interest (EOI) of approximately 1000 words, to demonstrate their field of?expertise, and the broad?areas within which they wish to position their research.
