If you want a career in international business and love to travel, this four-year degree is ideal. You’ll have the opportunity to spend one or two years studying, and possibly working, in Europe, North America, Latin America, Australia or the Asia Pacific region. This course reflects the growing need for managers of tomorrow to have the business and leadership skills, language competency and cultural awareness for success in today’s global business environment.
This course is EPAS accredited, which is a programme accredited system of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The EPAS is a badge of academic quality bestowed on a select group of leading business schools in the world. You can be awarded the degree ‘with language’ if you choose to study a foreign language in all years of study.

Work placement
As part of your BA International Business, you can take an optional overseas work placement during your Third Year. It’s a great opportunity to work in an international context, getting hands-on experience of another country’s language, culture and working practices.
Campus Information
de Havilland Campus (Hatfield)
The 拢120-million de Havilland campus, which was built by Carillion, opened in September 2003 and is situated within 15 minutes walk of College Lane, and is built on a former British Aerospace site.This campus also houses its own Learning Resource Centre, a combined library and computer centre.[Hertfordshire Sports Village which includes a gym, swimming pool, squash courts is also on this site. The large Weston Auditiorium is present on the de Havilland campus, adjacent to the Learn Resource Centre. The auditorium has a capacity of 450 and can host talks both by university lectures for students and for guest lecturers for guests and students, music and films events and dance events.The campus also contains 11 halls of residence;

- BCC - Requires Maths A level. Other A Levels may come from a selection of either Engineering or Technology, Science, Design, Computing, or Business related subjects. General studies/critical thinking not accepted.
BTEC
- DMM - Requires Extended Diploma in Engineering (DMM) to include Distinction in Further Maths
GCSE: Grade 4/C in English, Mathematics, and Science.
Foundation
- Completion of the Standard XII Certificate with 50% or above
- IELTS 4.5 with no less than 4.0 in any band
Undergraduate (year 1)
- Completion of the Standard XII Certificate with 60-70% depending on points tariff required by the UH course. Some courses may require specific subjects
- IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band for standard courses – some courses require higher
- Standard XII English with 65% will also be accepted
Undergraduate (year 2/3)
- Depending on qualifications and course - usually require 2/3 year Diploma post-Standard XII to be considered
