Bachelor of Arts (Dual Degree, Sciences Po, France)

Two of the world’s leading institutions for the humanities and social sciences – the University of Sydney and Sciences Po in France – have come together to offer students a dual degree program, one of a kind in Australia.
After completing the first two years of study in France, you will relocate to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney to continue your third and fourth year of studies in the Bachelor of Arts. Courses are taught in English, although you may select French as your language proficiency increases.
About the Bachelor of Arts
Offering broad choice across more than 45 subject areas in the humanities and social sciences, no two art degrees are quite the same. You will study a major and a minor choosing both from our broad choice across the humanities and social sciences, or selecting your minor from the University's shared pool.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate, including national and international equivalents.

This program is highly competitive. Admission to the program is determined jointly by the University of Sydney and Sciences Po, based on the following criteria:
- be a recent high school leaver (no transfer students permitted)
- submission of a statement of motivation, CV and academic transcripts (see below)
- attend a panel interview via teleconference
- meet the higher of the English language requirements of University of Sydney
