Master of Science in Speech - Language Pathology

This program is offered at the main campus in Abilene and the satellite/branch campus located in Addison, Texas. Abilene students attend classes at the Abilene campus and participate in clinical placements within the Abilene area. Dallas students attend classes at the Addison campus and participate in clinical experiences within the many communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.

Both Abilene and Dallas students may have an opportunity to participate in clinical externships across the country in their summer and final clinical placements. Students are not required to travel between the two campuses. All students must apply through the CSDCAS portal and are encouraged to indicate a preference of campus during the application process.

Admission Criteria
The minimum graduate admission requirements are:

A completed application and application fee;
An earned bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university or equivalent;
An official transcript(s) in English (or translated to English) from all previous colleges attended;
For master’s programs, a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale. For doctoral programs, a minimum cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale; and;
Departmental requirements as stated for each department.
Individual graduate programs may have higher standards or additional requirements for admission to their programs. Admission decisions are made by departmental admission committees or by program directors.
