Pearson BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Personal and Business Finance
The course is designed to provide a specialist work-related qualification in the financial services sector. It is assessed by completing a portfolio of evidence achieved by researching, working in groups, preparing reports and presentations, creating tables and charts, working on accounts and evaluating and analysing data. It is intended to form the basis of progression to a Level 4/5 courses but will also be career orientated to assist those going straight into employment. Some students will progress to professional courses in banking, accounting and business and some may study within the finance industry.
