Master of Laws (LLM Law)
The Brunel Master of Laws (LLM Law) is a flexible programme that enables graduates to specialise in a particular area of English or international law, or to obtain proficiency across a range of legal disciplines.
Our wide choice of elective modules, including in-demand subjects such as trade law, intellectual property, and human rights, allows you to tailor your own programme to your legal interests and career objectives.
In a legal job market where many employers are looking for candidates with advanced, specialised training, your LLM Law will improve your career prospects whether in a law practice, business, government or academia.
You can choose to study 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time (both start in September) or study 15 months full-time or 27 months part-time (both start in January).

Job Opportunity Potential

The Master of Laws LLM will prepare you for work in the corporate world and government as well as legal roles in the humanitarian, corporate, civil and criminal fields.

Brand new work placements and internships: You can now gain valuable work experience while studying postgraduate law at Brunel. New optional work placements (12 months) and internships (6-12 weeks) are available from September 2021 on this course.
PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
A 2:2 (or above) UK Honours degree or equivalent internationally recognised qualification in an engineering, science or technology subject; Mathematics or Statistics discipline Other subjects with relevant work experience will be assessed on an individual basis
A minimum score of 55%-65%. Offers within the grade range are determined by the higher education institution attended.
