Aeronautical Engineering MEng

This integrated qualification gives you the opportunity to explore aeronautical engineering to masters level. Our accredited course develops your technical understanding, management and leadership skills to enable you to become a skilled professional.

You’ll learn with a team who have an international reputation for research and take part in projects arising from and contributing to this research. Areas of research expertise include thermal efficiency of propulsion systems and microgravity research with the European Space Agency.

Working with other engineering specialists on creative industry-related projects, and the chance to join the Formula Student team, gives you an experience that mirrors industry. Placements and guest lectures from industry experts provide professional insight and networking opportunities.

Moulsecoomb campus

Two miles north of Brighton city centre and the seafront, Moulsecoomb is the largest of our four campuses with more than 8,000 students. Moulsecoomb Place is home to more than 160 students, while others live in nearby Varley Park. There are a number of areas of Brighton that are popular with students, just a short walk, cycle or bus ride away. These include Moulsecoomb, Bevendean, Hollingbury, Elm Grove, Hanover and other suburbs that stretch up the hills on either side of the Lewes Road.

PSW Opportunity

2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

For India

We require a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Standard XII with an overall average of 60–65% to include a minimum of five subjects at 40% or higher.

Students with relevant diplomas and HNDs may be considered for advanced entry on a case-by-case basis, subject to admissions assessment.

English language requirements
IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each element. Find out more about the other English qualifications that we accept.
