International Relations MA
Studying International Relations involves considering some of the most important issues facing the world today.
Poverty, war, terrorism, climate change, and human rights are all global priorities that require an understanding of the big picture in world politics. This course will give you a firm grounding in the practical and conceptual tools necessary to explain and analyse a range of issues facing policy-makers and citizens across the globe.
This course focuses on: * Applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios and problems, including terrorism, conflict, globalisation, democratisation and international crises. * Embedding employability through innovative assessments that help you develop the skills that employers in this field want, such as policy analysis, report writing, case based analysis and research methods. * Encouraging you to develop your own interests in the diverse field of International Relations.
You will be taught by a team of passionate academics with diverse interests in fields including conflict resolution, citizenship, terrorism and political violence, democratic participation, nationalism, social movements and identities. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside experts to design and manage your own research project on International Relations.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
A bachelor's degree with honours normally at 2:2 or above (or equivalent) in a subject related to International Relations.
If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
