Our graduates bring a global perspective as well as transferable skills in time management, problem solving and critical thinking to the workplace. They are prepared to address many of the complex issues facing the modern world.

These skills open up a number of career paths to you, including roles in national and local government, the civil and foreign service, interest groups, non-government organisations and charities. You may also find rewarding roles in education, business, the military and media.

Pre-approved for a Masters
University of Winchester students studying Bachelor Honours degrees are pre-approved to start a Masters degree at Winchester. To be eligible students must apply by the end of March in their final year and meet the entry requirements of their chosen Masters degree.

• 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
• 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Foundation

• Students who have completed 12th grade with scores between 50% and 70% will be considered

Undergraduate

• Successful completion of a suitable one year UK Foundation course (normally minimum 60%)
• International Baccalaureate(minimum of 24 points)
• Successful completion of year 10 Maths and English with a minimum of 75% plus completion of:
• Indian School Certificate (Year-12)
• Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 - See required scores below
• Diploma (from a State Board of Technical Education)
• Applicants who have completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a recognised Indian university may be considered for direct entry to undergraduate programmes.

Year 12 (HSC) grade requirements:

• The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) 70% or above
• Calcutta Board and Tamil Nadu 70% or above
• West Bengal 60% or above
• Maharashtra 75% or above

For undergraduate study (including courses with an integrated foundation year)

• Standard IELTS with an overall score of 5.5 at a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
• Non-standard (for example; Physiotherapy, Social Work, Journalism, Nursing) IELTS 7.0 or equivalent.
