Computer Animation and Visual Effects BSc (Hons)
As the digital creative industries use increasingly adopt the technologies of more computer animation and visual effects in for TtelevisionV, film and design work production, the demand for people individuals with both the creative and technical skills to support this the industry has continued to increased. This includes emerging fields such as Virtual Production and Virtual Reality(VR) or Mixed Reality applications.
This course will support these emerging roles in the digital creative industries through a combination of practical and theoretical teaching in the creative process from idea conception to production.

Job Opportunity Potential
The course opens the door to a wide range of careers including 3D modelling; technical animation; digital compositing; and visualisation for emerging fields such as virtual production. Successful graduates may gain employment in the digital creative industries related to computer animation and visual effects such as 3D modeller or animator for computer animation or production; VFX compositor or artist; 2D or 3D artist for games development; creative technologist or technical developer for the animation or VFX industry.
PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
The normal entry requirements for postgraduate degrees are a good honours degree in an appropriate subject from a recognised university.
We may also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications and individuals with substantial related work experience.
Applicants who not have English as a first language will be required to demonstrate they have the correct level of English for their course.
