Dance and Professional Practice BA (Hons)
This course focuses on developing graduate dance artists and practitioners who can forge a portfolio career within the dance sector. The emphasis on professional practice, technical competence, creativity and teamwork enables students to be versatile and adaptable as well as employable.
Throughout your studies you will take part in daily technique classes including contemporary, ballet, commercial techniques, and fitness sessions. Your timetable will also include choreography and creative sessions and lectures and seminars. You will also take workshops in digital technologies, dance teaching skills and community dance practices.

The Bedford campus has lots of green open spaces while being very close to Bedford town centre and local amenities. It boasts our Gateway building, a three-storey building that offers high-quality teaching spaces, informal learning spaces, lecture theatres and a new student services centre.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
The normal entry requirements for postgraduate degrees are a good honours degree in an appropriate subject from a recognised university.
We may also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications and individuals with substantial related work experience.
Applicants who not have English as a first language will be required to demonstrate they have the correct level of English for their course.
