Social Studies BA (Hons)
This degree gives you a deep understanding of individuals, communities and workplaces; the issues faced by vulnerable individuals and groups in our society; and the policy, legal, cultural and organisational contexts that shape it.
Over the three-year course, you learn the foundations of social studies, including the law and society, the sociology of modern Britain, the human services and globalisation. In your second and third years, you can also follow your interests, choosing specific areas such as human rights, culture, children and adult services, criminal justice, welfare systems, disability issues and multi-agency working.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
The normal entry requirements for postgraduate degrees are a good honours degree in an appropriate subject from a recognised university.
We may also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications and individuals with substantial related work experience.
Applicants who not have English as a first language will be required to demonstrate they have the correct level of English for their course.
