Global Studies, BA: Global Management

The Global Management track of UWM's Global Studies program focuses on the impact of globalization on business and the world economy. Global Studies-Management prepares students as future managers, capable of analyzing transnational issues; strategizing within a global, cross-cultural context; and implementing projects with a strong understanding of globalization's implications for the private and public sectors. Students are required to complete a study abroad program, an overseas internship, and study a foreign language, both practical and applied experiences that provide a distinct edge. This track will prepare students to assume leadership roles in many areas, but it will be advantageous especially in such fields as international business, consulting, education, government, and public policy. In addition, graduates of this track will meet the background course requirements for admission to an MBA program. The College of Letters and Science and the Sheldon B. Lubar College of Business jointly award this degree.
